SEO Mistakes That Google Does Not Like to See

Word cloud for Keyword stuffingGoogle is always in control of the websites that can and cannot be found throughout its search engine. This is something that a lot of people do not consider when they go to put their websites up on the searches. However, a lot of times they will leave you alone if you do nothing wrong. If you do something that makes them mad though, then they will make sure to remove you from their list of searchable websites, so you’re no longer able to be found.

Don’t Be a Link Buyer

Not only is this frowned upon, but it is now something that is illegal to do. When Google finds out you’ve done this and cheated, they will not hesitate to remove you from their search results and put you on the blacklist that they have – which you’re not going to be able to get off.

Being a Part of a Bad Neighborhood

When you put your links and other content on a content website, some of them are not reputable, authoritative websites. This means that you’re a part of the bad neighborhood. When you’re next to links that are trusted and known, you’re in a good neighborhood. Being associated with a bad neighborhood puts you in a bad place when it comes to ranking with Google.

Article Spinning

Google is becoming smarter and with it comes the ability to pick up on articles that have been spun to say essentially the same thing for a website or company, but placed on a website in a slightly different manner. Google picks this up and considers it to be cheating. It is best to write fresh content each and every time, instead of spinning the same articles over.

Too Many Keywords is Bad

Stuffing each and every little keyword into the content that you’re writing, and then repeating yourself dozens of times throughout is also not going to fair well with Google. Once or twice is sometimes enough, given the length of your content. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing according to Google.

Being blacklisted is what would happen when it comes to the SEO mistakes that are listed above. This is a problem you do not want to have and one that is not an easy fix. In order to avoid this from happening, you have to make sure that you steer clear of the issues associated with this. Provide yourself with the best SEO practices and skip the bad stuff. Bottom line Keyword Stuffing is a no no.
